Psalms Reading Plan: Week 8: Royal Psalms

Royal Psalms direct our prayers by calling us to recognize God as sovereign over life and creation. Additionally, the references to God’s anointed King gesture towards the reality of Jesus Christ            (Christ = “anointed one” in Greek) as the ruler of our lives.

As you read these Psalms this week, consider the way that the Psalmist shows the trust that the King has in God.  How can you foster this same sort of trust in God as you seek to obey and follow Jesus this week?
