Last Sunday, we noted that worrys and anxieties can creep into our lives.  When this happens, we need to consider what is truly important - that our lives are more than the material concerns that we have.  We need to consider God's care and order in creation, seeing the ways that he has already supplied and cared for our needs.  We must consider our own powerlessness in the situation, that we must rely on our Father who is greater than our worries and needs.  We, then, need to consider the kingdom of God, seeking way to dmeonstrate trust and obedience towards our Saviour and King.

Please consider the following questions as we look to lay aside our worries and anxieties in life...
- Do I believe that there is more to my life than the material needs that I have?  Where do I allow worry to stick (money, work, home, children, relationships, etc.)?
- Where have I previously seen the care and provision of God?  How can this help me lay down the worry that I have now?
- What is my reponse to the powerless feelings that I have?  How can I trust God when I feel this way?  How can I share my struggle with others so that they can help me with my faith in him?
- How am I seeking the kingdom?  How can I live that demonstates that I am determined to love God and love others?  How do my actions, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs show that I follow Jesus as my king?  Where can I change in these matters?

This week, we will see the ways that we enter the kingdom of God and examine those elements that hold us up.  Please take time to read Matthew 19:16-30, considering and meditating on how Jesus' words lead us into a deeper life with him.
